I am trying to disable active directory and I am not able
to, what would you suggest?
 
Hi Mira-

Can you elaborate on what you mean by disable AD?

If you're trying to decommission an AD domain the only way to do so is to
demote all DC's to member servers including the last DC in the AD Forest.
