Active Directory restore on different hardware

Hello,

Does any one have an idea how to restore active directory on a
different hardware.

Please note: I have already tried with the following article several
time but unfortunately i couldnt succeed

How to perform a disaster recovery restoration of Active Directory on a
computer with a different hardware configuration.
