Active Directory - master browser

My Server is the only Windows 2000 Server (domain
controler) in the network but while starting Active
Directory Users and computers pops the error

Namining information cannot be located because

The specified Domain either does not exist or cannot be
contacted.

Make sure this server has it own IP address as DNS in TCP/IP Settings. Make
sure you can ping the domain name by FQDN, like ping <domain>.<com>
