Activation & registration

I have purchased a desktop system (one month old) from my
brother. Now i want to change the registration and
Activation info in microsoft website so how do i do it!!!

Registration isn't mandatory nor is it necessary. Activation serves the
purpose of tying the operating system to the PC not to the individual. If
XP is already activated on your computer, nothing more needs to be done. If
you reformat and reinstall, you will be asked again to activate but,
assuming no major hardware changes, this is usually nothing more than a
handshake between two computers over the Internet..
