Activation Problem

Hi

Ive just put a new mobo, cpu and ram in my comp and had to format my hard
drive, once id done this i reinstalled windows XP and then used my Vista
upgrade disc to upgrade to vista, when i try to activate my copy im been told
that the activation key is already in use, how do i get round this?

Give MicroSquish a call and tell them what happened. They will allow
reactivation.

I just called the line entered all the numbers then the system started asking
me alot of qustions about my windows xp, strange since this is vista?? it put
my thru to there queing system to talk to a representative, at which point i
hung up, ill call back tomorrow, but i dont understand all the questions
regarding xp, also what kind of info will they ask for on the phone so i have
everything ready for when i call back?

Supposedly, only the 50 digit number.

I assume it's asking about XP since you have an "upgrade" key that requires
XP or 2000 to be valid.
