activating My Vista upgrade.

Hello
I had an old HP pavilion that got bricked in a lightening storm after
installing and activating Vista ultimate upgrade. Recently i bought a compaq
with Vista Home Premium already installed. I took my Ultimate upgrade disc
and installed it. Whe i go to activate windows it says that my key is already
in use. Ummm... i need a lil help here. I called compusa, HP, and when i try
to get intouch with someone from Microsoft, im on hold for more than an hour
and no solution. It says that i have 3 days to activate. PLEASE HELP!!!
