Activation Problem

Hello,

i just installed Windows Vista RC1 and everythings working fine. But
unfortunately i got my Product Key later (now) and i have problems activating
it.

In the installation i had to choose which version of Vista i have. I klicked
on "Vista Starter" which appeared right to me as there was no RC1 to choose.
Now i got a Product Key but i cant activate Vista because it says i need
another Key to activate Vista Starter.

Is there any possiblity to activate it anyways without deleting everything
and installing new ? If yes, what do i have to choose in the Installation ?
Which version ?

Thank you in advance

My version is german and 32bit

Regards

Thomas

Thomas - all versions of Vista are on the DVD - which version (Home basic,
Home premium, Business, enterprise, Ultimate) is installed depends on the
product key. As Ben mentioned the product supplied is for the Ultimate
version.
Unfortunately if Vista is not activated at installation - a "menu" appears
listing various versions - those other than Ultimate cannot be activated.
If you can get back to the option menu select Ultimate.
