activation problem.

hi i my mate put windows xp pro on my lap top for me and activated it now i
have had no probs untill now usuly if u havnt activated it you would get a
window pop up sayin it needs to be activate and in your task bar them lil key
logos i havnt had none of this. i logged in this morning and i got a warning
saying i have got 7 days to activate and when you click on activate it says
this product has already been activated and one no what could be rong as it
says its already been activated and to my knowlege it has.
