ACTIVATION KEY

Ok, I downloaded your Windows vista build 5384, when you were offering
it for beta testing. I started the download and left my computer up. I
never wrote down the Product Key. My computer got the whole file, but
ended up restarting. I could not get the product key. I have tried
emailing you before, but no one has responded. If you check my email
address, you will see I have a registered passport account for a long
time, and you should see when I downloaded your software from your
site.
I have tried everything to keep this OS wroking,even reinstalling it
over and over. Please send me an activation key. Im tired of
reinstalling this to a new partition over and over and over. Thanks.

1. This isn't Microsoft. This is a user-based newsgroup.

2. What happened to the email Microsoft sent to your Passport.net
registered email address that also contained the Product Key?

3. RC1 will be out in a few weeks, which will also be available to the CPP
participants. Can you wait?

4. If you search the newsgroup for "product key" you will find you have
added to the fifty or so different threads regarding the exact same theme.
Like we needed one more.

I fail to see how the OP could have installed without a product
key........unless he 'found' one by other means.

There is no such thing as an 'activation key'. There is a 'product key'
which you would have needed to install. Without a product key, you cannot
install Vista. You claim to have not written down your product key. You
claim to have never been able to obtain the product key. Then how did you
manage to install Vista at all? No product key = no install.
