Activation for Office XP

I recently purchased Office XP professional. I have installed it and
activated it over the internet on my desktop computer. The EULA says
that it can also be installed on a laptop. Will I be able to activate
it on the laptop over the internet or will I need to to it by phone?

Also, how do I recognize which (if any service packs) have been
preinstalled? The "about" does not says any service pack just a
version number.
