activate links in outlook email

Try this if you're not using IE7: in IE, click Tools>Internet
Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.

Thanks Brian. Done that, but to no effect. Message says "Opperation cancled
due to restrictions on this computer / contact syst admin"

What I suggested is also supposed to be the fix for that message, according
to Microsoft. I don't have any other suggestions.
