Activate Autorun

My XP home laptop does not run the autorun program when a
CD is put in the CD drive. Can someone tell me how to
turn on this feature?

Make sure the service "Shell Hardware Detection" is started & set on
automatic in
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Then right-click on your cd drive in My Computer and choose the Autoplay tab
to configure it
