Action Settings

I have a student who is using PPT 2007. She inserted a shape, typed text on
it and used Insert|Action and placed a hyperlink on the text in the shape.
Everytime she saves the file, the hyperlink disappears. It happens if she
saves it as a 2007 or if she shaves it down. Has anyone ever seen this?

If she attaches the link to the shape instead of the text, does that work?
