action button

Hey guys & girls
i am a writer and i cannot find the action button in ms word 2003 where it
lets you insert a character so the character is talking when you select this
button world centers to the middle of the screen like a character talking. I
have been looking for the last 2 hours i have been through all the options
and cannot find it.....

If you are trying to center the selected paragraphs of text, press Ctrl+E.

On the other hand, if you want to center part of a paragraph, use a tab
stop. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/SettingTabs.htm.
