ACPI Function Enable.......

I have recently installed win 2000 pro and now i get....
ACPI Function Enable. This is the message i get at the
boot up screen then the computer won't continue to boot.

I have looked on the net for some answers and tryed going
into system management option to disable it, but this was
not available so im stuck.

2. Also sometimes it only gets as far as checking NVRAM
and doesn't move on.

Can u help?

Your hardware is damaged and or not configured correctly. Check the manual
for your mother board.
