ACPI corruption

My HP says that the file acpi.sys is corrupted and it
keeps giving me this system error and restarting. I have
tried all the different modes and also have tried
debugging, but nothing seems to work. What do I do?

In future if you want more specific help just stating you have a HP machine
is like saying you have a Ford. What exact model please. {]:~)
