AciveX Error message

Hi, I would appreciate somebody giving me some help.

When I have completed a word document and try to copy and paste it on to an
email I receive the following error message:

'Your current security settings prohibit running ActivX controls on this
page. As a result this page may not display correctly'.

Basically, the document becomes unformatted.

How can I stop this happening.

Many thanks,
Sean

What settings are you using for Compose in your email program? Plain text,
HTML, Rich Text? If using Outlook Express, the default settings in Tools>
Options> Security, places the OE program into a Zone with very high
security level (many restrictions). You could try adjusting these so that
you can send this email but suggest setting them right back to the default
level after the email is sent.

If you use a web interface for email, check security settings in Internet
Explorer. If you have an internet security program installed that blocks
ActiveX, you may need to adjust that program as well.

A workaround: If the recipient has Word or a Word viewer installed, they
will be able to open and read a Word file attachment. Save the document.
Then send it as a file attachment instead of inserting it into the email
message body.
