Active X setting will not let view or download from some
safe sites ei pcpitstop to do a test on my computer I
have reset my security setting as advised by pcpitstop
to no avail hope you can help

Did you go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Tools > Security and
adjust setting under custom settings?
