Acessing Dialog Box for Page Numbering

In Word 2000/02, other than Insert-page numbering, what other way can I
access this dialog box for page numbering? Some times this box will not show
up (when I go to Insert-page numbering) and therefore, I cannot insert page
numbering properly which makes it impossible to generate a Table of Contents
due to this - when I'm usually testing at an agency (they are not using 2003)
and it costs me the job. If you have any ideas, please, please help.

If it's a Table of Contents that's giving you problems, why not automatically
generate the TOC using Styles? That way your problem is solved for you.
