Hi Guys & Gals.........
My 1st. time joining this community..so guess I'm a 'virgin' at moment!!!!!
Have a problem with Permanently cycling 'configuring updates stage 3 of 3'
on my Acer laptop 9301...
Think prob was originally caused 'reaching a Red Line point on the C drive.
Could not choose a 'restore point' as I had not set the lap top to do so
since new..guess this is a Vista feature...Since was an automatic regular
action that Windows Millennium performed on an older Tiny laptop.
Performed all the usual 'cure' attempts, F8 booting in safe mode
etc,etc.... No Joy....So bought a SATA docking unit, to access the contents
as if it were a separate HDrive, saved entire contents to another Storage
HDrive...Ok
Replaced Sata drive back in Acer unit, and despite some different screen
display...it continued to 'cycle' around the 'config updates stage and
continually restarting....all day and all night.!!!!!!
My only concern now is...sorry a bit 'dim' But how do I access my mail from
the contents of the Acer saved on the aforementioned storage drive.
Ta in anticipation......
Regards
