Acer 640P is not working with win2k

The scanner ScanPrisa 640P, ACER is not working with
win2k as i have downloaded the suitable driver but still
displaying the message that "your scanner is not plugged
or not turn on" .......Please help me......
The scanner is ok and working good with win98 and NT4.0
