account removed

i have a user account and passward with some important files and folders , some reasons i removed that account now i am not accessing that files and folders and also that folder showing '0' bytes how can i recover that folder

Take ownership of the folder and assign yourself rights to access it.
Of course you need to be an administrator to do this.

Right click the folder, on the security tab click advanced.
Click on the Owner tab
Highlight your account or the Administrators group
Check the box labelled "Replace owner on subcontainers...."
Click OK

Now click Add, type your account name, click OK
Give yourself Full Control permission, click OK

Now you can access the folder
