accidental deletion of email account

I accidentaly deleted an email account and lost all of my messages and the
attached files. is there any way of restoring them?

After you've worked out what mail client you use, restore
them from your backup and ask the relevant email newsgroup
where to place them and link them to your EMail program. If
you do not have any backups then this would be a good time
to review your policy about backing up your important files.

Depends on what email client you use. There are perhaps 50 email
programs that people use. It'd be nice to be more specific.
