When I try to access a windows 2000 computer on my home
network I get a resource screen with the computers name
as resource and it wants a password to be eneterd. How do
I log to this computer when I don't use logons and
passwords on my network computers?

You can enable the guest account on the W2K computer which normally I don't recommend
except for networks where all users are trusted and the network is protected from the
internet by a firewall. That will allow everyone/anyone access to shares that have
everyone permissions including ntfs permissions. You can use lusrmgr.msc in the run
box to open Local Users and Groups. Then go to users/guest - open the account and
uncheck disabled. --- Steve
