Ian

I've got win XP pro installed on my comp and have had
some probs with one or two user accounts that I've set
up. I can't access them due to some sort of file
corruption in the startup process but the folders for
them, ie. the ones which hold My Documents and Desktop
customized user settings are definately still on the
comp. They're not really vital on their own but I
had/have some emails in them which I'd like to retrieve
(if that's possible). Could anyone tell me which folder
the email information might be located or how I could
find them?

The mail will be stored in hidden .dbx files.
You can locate the files and import into Outlook Express or
follow the directions in the last paragraph to restore a single OE folder.

?,

Kindly refrain from uploading binaries to a text newsgroup. I didn't
want your binary crap on my system.

Assuming they used OE, are you? There are tons of e-mail programs out
there that store mail in different file formats.

OP: Need more info!
