Accessing shared cd-rw drive

I used to be able to send files to a shared cd-rw drive. I recently bought a
new pc and I can longer do this.When I try to send a file to the shared cd-rw
drive I get access denied error. Both machines are XP Pro in same workgroup.
Any help?

When you shared out th CD drive under the sharing tab there is also a
permissions tab to the bottom right hand side.
Insert your username with full permissions to share also you could remove
and then redo the full permissions for everyone.
Another possibility is to log in under an administrative account which
resides on both PC's e.g. same username and password on each and see if any
of these help.
