accessing secure internet sites problem!!!!

hope someone can help me..from saturday i have been unable to automatically
enter specific websites (hotmail,online banking..and even here) without a
security alert box popping up..it tells me that there is a problem with the
site's security certificate and that the certificate has been issued by a
company i have not chosen to trust....this never happened before...please can
someone guide or advise me

step one: do a system restore a point before saturday.

Also check your tools, internet-alternetives. Clear files and cookies.
Restore the security settings to normal

temporarly try another web browser:
http://www.netscape.com
