My motherboard crashed, so I took the existing hard drive
and installed in another computer with Win XP too. But I
am unable to open the folders from these hard drive that
I created under the user that have administrative
privledges of the crashed pc. It says, access denied. Is
there a way I can access these folders and files. Please
help, these files are very important. Thank you in
advance for anyone who can help.

Take Ownership of that folder. Login as Administrator from Safe mode (XP
Home)
