I have access to the internet. When I try to udate the anti virus, it fails to connect. I can not connect to the main web pages of Symantec of McAffe. How do I fix this?
Go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC and find the "HOSTS" file. It's
the one that's bigger than 1 k. Make a copy of it for backup. Double
click it to bring up the "Open With.." window. Choose notepad to open
it, then delete every line except "127.0.0.1 localhost".
