Access2003 Linked Table Manager Empty

I was just switched to an Windows XP Office 2003 laptop
from a Windows 2000 Office 2003 Desktop in a multi user
networked environment.

Now in all my Access files, the Linked Table Manager is
always empty of tables. The Linked tables show up on the
switchboard, with the linked icon. They open up fine.

Even when I create a new db and link tables from an access
db, the linked table manager shows up empty.

The databases still work. I can view the linked table
manager on Windows 2000 based machines and on one Windows
XP machine.

On another Windows XP Office 2003 machine, the Linked
Table Manager properly displays all the linked tables.
Each user in this system has a seperate user profile.

Does anyone have any suggestions on why the Linked Table
Manager is empty??

OK, I think you're mixing apples/oranges. Windows XP is an operating
system. You're talking about Microsoft Office, a suite of applications.
You will get good help by posting to an Office newsgroup. Here is a
link with a listing of MS newsgroups:

Thanks for the link, but I posted here as well as the
Access user group. The big change when switching
computers was in the operating system. I wanted to know
if any one had encountered this problem while using XP.

Access2003 was working fine under Windows2000. I thought
perhaps someone here may have had a similiar interaction
between Access and XP. No one on the access side has
seemed to encounter this, thus I broadened my scope.
