Hello, I need some help. I have created a data base in Microsoft Access and
when I save it, it goes to the specified destination but I cannot open it
again, the file icon has a key or a lock on it. I have tried this three time
and still get the same result. Anyone have any ideas.

Sounds like you trying to open the *.ldb file. And sounds like where you
are saving it to this file is not being deleted like it should be. What
version of Access? Where are you saving it? On a network or your local
computer? If you open Access can you open the database?

I would ignore Gina, her answer is to use Jet, no matter how
applicable.

I'd just move to SQL Server and learn a real frontend tool like Access
Data Projects
