I've just purchased MS access so I can learn the program at home. I have 4
computers at home I want to install this on. How many times will the product
key allow me to install. Thanks...

Doug, did they rescind the "Once on your desktop and once on your laptop" rule?

Not that it matters to me, as I have the Action Pack and MSDN Universal, so all
of mine are accounted for. I just vaguely remember something about the double
install thing.

To be honest, Danny, I'm not sure. I seem to recall hearing that they did,
but like you I have MSDN Universal, so I don't have an EULA to check.

Well, I remember this conversation from years ago, late 90's if memory
serves me, and I believe it was either Larry or Arvin who were reminiscing
about the good old days when the license agreement read something like:

Install on as many computers as you like, but only one can be
running at any given time.

The analagy was to that of a book. You buy it, and you can read it at the
office or at home, but not both. You can even loan a book to someone else,
but of course, while they have it, you can hardly be reading it.

Larry? Arvin? Do either of you remmeber that discussion?

I know that's no longer true, but I thought there was the laptop concession.
