Hi. please help
Got 4 pcs on a network by way of a router.
Sharing internet through a DSL USB modem into host pc.
All pcs can see each other except they can't see host pc and host pc can't
see the others.
Any suggestions would be great!

Thanx for that. Checked it all as per link and still no luck.
I did find though that this PC has another network card. And when I add it
to the router, it does allow all pcs to see it and vice versa, but then the
internet gets disconnected and does not reconnect :(
I'm confused

How many NIC's do you have on your host?

Does you DSL modem only have a USB connection or does it have ethernet as
well?

If it has an ethernet connection, connect the DSL modem to the router via
ethernet. Leave all 4 pc's connected to the router. Disable internet
conection sharing and enable internet connection through gateway.

Thanx for your reply.
The modem only has a USB so it couldn't go into the router.
In the host there are two Cards
1/ 3 com ...ethernet adapter = this one has a cable going into the
router's WAN
2/ Intel (R)pro/100 VM network connection = this one isn't used. BUT if I
connect this into one of the routers ports I can access the network but the
internet then disconnects.

Thanx again
