I have an Access database that is being mailmerged with a WORD document. I
have figure out using Cutepdf to convert the WORD document into a pdf, but am
unable to password protect or encrypt it. I am asking if anyone knows how to
do this or has an alternative way? Is is possible to have Access create a
encrypt/ password protected pdf. I am using 2002 Access and Word. I have
thought about using snapshot, but I am going to be sending this out to many
people, who might not have the proper programs to open or don't know how to
open it. So I figure people generally have Adobe Reader.
I am considering using Cutepdf Prof. or Full Adobe to do the encryption so if
anyone has the VBA code that will look in a file and encrypt/password the pdf
file I would appreciate it. Lots of information about how great Cutepdf is,
but no code to explain how to automate from Access.
