Access - Is it possible?

Dear All, I was wondering if it is possible to create an access database
that holds our stock records, and from which orders can be loaded onto the
system will check quantities available and adjust the levels after the order
is processed. Some sort of 'Picking' system I guess.



Any help would be gratefully recieved

Most things are possible.

It's the manhours that are are the issue.

This sounds like one of those bread-and-butter applications like checkbooks and
bookkeeping that must have dozens of off-the-shelf apps that will do 80% of what
you ever dreamed of doing for 5% of the cost over custom development.
