Access is denied message on startup

A small window with an exclamation point opens on startup
stating "ACCESS IS DENIED". I click OK and it disappears
and nothing is apparently wrong.

How can I get this message off of my startup screen.

this usually occurs after installing software....it
happended to me after installing mcafee.... if you log on
as administrator and it doesnt appear rite?
