Is there an offline help file available for Access 2003?
Yes. The contents are pretty good but the indexing and contents are
WRETCHED, unfortunately. However performance is better than the online
help if you're stuck on less than broadband net connectivity (or,
given the state of Microsoft's servers, better no matter what!)
To force Access to show the OFFLINE help, select the "Online Help
Settings" at the bottom of the initial help window and uncheck the
appropriate boxes. You'll still be able to connect to the online help
if the offline help doesn't meet your needs... and post a question
here if that fails you as well!
