Access Folder Properties

All of a sudden I cannot access the folder properties
window either by right-clicking and selecting Properties
or using the shortcut Alt-Tab.

Both methods work on indvidual files but not folders. I
have administrative rights and am running Windows XP
Professional SP1.

Any hints?
 
Sean, if you have a WinXP CD try a System File Check. Start>Run type
sfc /scannow Have the cd in the cd drive.
 
Also, if you have Internet Information Services installed, remove and reinstall it.
