access error

I get a pop up when I try to play a game I purchased off the interenet error:
Access violation at 0x077F3F384(tried to write to 0x00140000)program
terminated.
im running windows xp

The first thing to do is contact the game mftr.'s tech support.

Can you uninstall and reinstall the game? Did you download a file and save
it?
