When I boot from bootup diskette I am in a:/. I can go to C:/ & D:/.
I cannot get to E:/, F:/ and G:/. This is rather serious as I use F
for backups, ghost, etc. I get "invalid drive specification". How do
I get access to these three drives?

Thanks

Glenn

A boot floppy can only access fat partitions, NTFS partitions cannot be
accessed. Use the command prompt from Windows XP to access the NTFS
partitions.

Thank you Michael, I wasn't aware of that.

You may find the option on an F8 boot to 'Safe Mode - Command Prompt
only' useful. This is a basic XP, with NTFS support, but using the
cmd.exe command interpreter as shell instead of explorer (you can still
launch GUI programs from it, but avoid possible trouble in components of
the explorer shell)
