Access denied

[David Moore]

I was having a problem with my computer, instead of
reformatting and starting over I uninstalled xp and
reinstalled it. Well come to find out I can'e Access my old
profile folders. I get "Access denied" message. Ive tried
everything. These folders have very important items in it..
Please help me
