Using Windows XP Home on two computers which are on a network.
Laptop can access desktop and read and copy all files on it.
However, Desktop gets an access denied screen when trying to access
c:/windows, C:/program files, and C:?WUTemp on the Laptop. All other
directories it can read and copy.
User on Desktop is H. User on Laptop is M, but H is an additional
user.
Please help. If it works one-way, it should work the reverse,
shouldn't it??
Many thanks,
Herb

Check if H-user has administrator rights on your laptop.
The directories you're trying to access are system
directories and require administrator rights.

I took M off Laptop and put H on as administrator.
Anyway I thought I did it correctly, but I still can't go from Desktop
to Laptop.
Herb
