I have recently noticed a number of XP computers that are denying me from
accessing there event logs remotely through Computer Manager. Does anyone
know of a certain service or Group Policy that could cause this? Domain
Admins and Enterprise Admins have the right to access the computer over the
network. Some of our machines have SP2, but firewalls are disabled through
Group Policy. Could SP2 be the problem?
Thanks

Are you a netwrok administrator, and are you really supposed to have such rights on a domain. If so, contact your IT dept, or whoever grants the rights to do so.

Yes, I am the network administrator.

Thanks
