New member here... looks like a great forum! Hoping someone can shed some light on a Win 2000 network issue.

I have two machines connected via a D-Link DI-604 router: one, an XP pro and the other a Win 2000 platform. In the past I have had no connectivity issues. However, I reloaded Windows 2000 and since then have only been able to connect through the network from the XP platform to the 2000 machine. If I try to access the XP platform from the Win 2000 machine, I receive an "Access denied" error.

Network is set up for DHCP using a common workgroup. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
