so i build an access database for a gentleman. the reports and everything
work, they're pulling everything in from the query, however, when he enters
new people, it re-alphabatizes at the end of the report. so, all old ones
are alphabatized and then a new one starts with the new added people. is
there a way to fix so that it takes the query as a whole and alphabatize it,
new added people and all?

It's a gentleman (a male...) looking at yr database ....
He can't help.

Sorry for this, I just couldn't help ... LOL

Query?
Adding new records?
and
Showing a report?

Very important for the respondees in this NG to know, the sequence in which
this all happens.
Could you rephrase yr question, indicating in what order this all happens?

Matt,
I did this, but there's 4 pages in the middle of the document, that aren't
being alphabetized. I have it set to do a sort on company, and then a sort
