Word Drop Down Lists

R

Ribspreader

I have formatted a fax document with a list of names in one drop down list
and a list of fax numbers in another drop down list. Unfortunately, after I
added the 25th name, I got a message saying only 25 in a drop down list. I
have at lest a hundred names to enter. Any way around this? I don't want to
have to manually enter the names each time. I want to be able to find the
names in a list in the document Also, any way to alphabatize the list? I
could not find one in the drop down list. I had to manually move each one to
try to arrange them in alphabetical order.

Dropdown form fields have a maximum of 25 entries.
If you had your contacts in Outlook, it would be fairly easy to pick them
from a list- see http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm The alternatives are
to employ a user form or to page different sets of names into the list using
a macro. You'll find examples on Greg Maxey's web site
