What is the best way to have my database available over the web? I would like
to have my access 2000 database available over the web to users with
passwords. They will need to be able to edit records and print reports. Is
there a better/easier method than access? The local phone company will not
let me put the access database on their server so I would have to find
another server. I have a great database with over 40 reports.

You could use an MDB file *for the data*, but you would have to comnpletely
re-create the interface using a web technology. You can't just run Access
inside a web browser any more than you can run Word or Excel inside a web
browser.

ADP = Access Data Projects

these work _GREAT_ over the internet

you've got to be a little bit tight when it comes to the where
clause-- but it works like a charm

MDB doesn't work across WAN, VPN, Wireless--

ADP works _FLAWLESSLY_

Wow, a calm and somewhat collected response from this chameleon...

stick it buddy

I've always been cool and collected

you kids use FUD in order to spread the DISEASE that is MDB
