Sharing an access database

I have an access database that I would like all staff in my company to access
at the same time. Staff are located at various towns in the UK. We do not
have a company network therefore no file servers. Is there any web solution
that I could use to enable me to make the database available to all company
staff?

The database has been created in Access 2003. Will this be possible or
should I plan for a dynamic SQL database?

many thanks

A web solution means rebuilding the entire front-end as web pages. This is
costly and time-consuming and nowhere near as versatile as an Access rich
client front-end. You have several alternatives.

1. You can spend the money to purchase a Terminal Server, software, and
licenses. My last installation of that cost about $7,000, still far less
than a web solution.

2. You can use WinConnect, provided you will never need more than 21
concurrent users. WinConnect licenses run $299 for a 3pk of them. You may
need to spend another $1200 to $1500 for a robust XP-Pro machine if you
don't have a beefy XP machine to run it on.
