Access crashes in Datasheet view (embedded PDF's to blame?)

Hi,

I've built a database with a field that I use to embed scanned signed
documents saved as PDF's for convenience.

I have recently begun to encounter a problem whereby the datasheet view
window blanks and freezes when I scroll through the data. I have replicated
the problem under the following circumstances:

1. The problem only occurs on this particular table
2. Queries from this table also exhibit the same signs
3. The problem only occurs when this particular field is visible in the window
4. The problem does not occur when I use the forms to view/change my data

The file itself does not appear to be corrupt (or I seriously hope not!) and
looking at a recent posting I had an idea that maybe it is a
'process-dialogue' issue?

I'm relatively new to access, so maybe I've overlooked something obvious.

Hi Dom,

I'm thinking that it is a corrupt database problem. I've seen the same
behavior with Memo fields. I have a white paper names Fix Corrupt Access
Database towards the bottom of:
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp

Instead of embedding, it's probably worth the hassle of using hyperlinks for
these documents.
