I have re-installed Office 97 Professional on my computer
after upgrading to Windows XP. The other components are
all OK but I get the above message each time I try to
start Access. If anyone can help, please explain what I
have to do in very simple "idiot proof" language please.

This is a known and obnoxious bug, having to do with a font, of all
things.

Type the exact error message into a google or Yahoo search with quotes around
it. I has a smiliar problem. I had to download a fix from Microsoft, rename
Hattenweiler, or whatever the name of that font is, and reinstall Office.
